KPOP COSTUME REVIEW f(x) 에프엑스_Electric Shock_Music Video (by SMTOWN)

OMG.

I love it, so I’m gonna (try and) keep this short.

5/5 for costume.

f(x) has remained consistent pretty much all the way through each of their comebacks, the outfits are always colourful and interesting and fun. Just like the music.

Despite the fact that f(x) has a distinct ‘style’ as a band, each member has their own style that matches their personality in the group and their appearance, e.g. Amber wears baggy vest tees and long shorts and skinnies which complete her androgynous tomboy look.

Her hair looks amazing (and with those contacts…DAYUM Ambeo!) I love you Amber, I really do.

Victoria and Krystal are more feminine in shorts and funky tees and skinnies. In terms of group dynamic, Victoria and Krystal are the more sexy-feminine of the group, while Sulli and Luna are more cutesy-feminine.

My favourite for outfits is Sulli, with a funky schoolgirl concept. There’s 2 outfits in particular I love on her. And I love pigtails too :D

Luna wears funky baggy tees with skinny jeans and shorts. And a awesome dungaree dress, LOVE IT. Love everything she wears. Love her.

It’s hard to pick apart what they’re wearing individually because there’s so many costume changes! But overall I am very very satisfied. I already knew the song but f(x)’s videos are always amazing. They’re among my favourites just for the sheer colour of them. They don’t pretend to be anything more than what they are; fun. I’m so glad SM didn’t suddenly decide to change their concept (could you imagine, f(x) with a serious concept? uhh ew).

I dress like f(x) pretty much every day. Ultimate inspiration. Stuck in the 90’s forever. :D
